Attekus | Rebranding for Growth and Innovation

Attekus, a technology provider serving local government, government and education organisations, partnered with Versed to evolve its brand identity beyond its well-known product, Bookable. The project focused on strengthening recognition of Attekus as the organisation behind its solutions, creating a clearer market position, more cohesive messaging, and a modern identity aligned to future growth.
Expertise

While Bookable had established strong recognition in market, the Attekus corporate brand remained secondary to the product identity. As the business expanded its capabilities and market presence, the existing brand no longer reflected the maturity, breadth or strategic direction of the organisation.

The challenge was to create stronger alignment between the company brand and its solutions, while modernising the visual identity and clarifying how Attekus communicated its value to local government, government and education customers.

Versed alongside Gary Schmidt at Sounder delivered an end-to-end rebrand encompassing brand strategy, identity design, messaging, and rollout support.

  • Brand Strategy: Developed a clearer corporate brand position that elevated Attekus beyond its flagship product and reinforced its role as the technology partner behind its solutions.
  • Visual Identity: Created a contemporary visual identity system, including logo refinement, colour palette, typography, and supporting brand assets designed to improve consistency and recognition across channels.
  • Messaging: Established core messaging frameworks and tone of voice to create clearer, more consistent communication across customer, partner, and internal audiences.
  • Implementation: Supported rollout across digital platforms, sales collateral, templates, and brand touchpoints to help embed the new identity across the organisation and within the market.

The rebrand strengthened recognition of Attekus as the organisation behind its technology solutions, creating clearer alignment between the corporate brand and the Bookable product suite.

The new brand was implemented across customer-facing channels within three months, supporting rapid adoption during a significant growth phase for the business. Internally, the refreshed identity helped unify teams around a clearer company vision and values, while preserving the collaborative culture that had underpinned Attekus’ success.

Customer feedback throughout the transition was overwhelmingly positive, with stakeholders noting the clarity and consistency of the updated brand experience. Following the launch of the new website in February 2026, user engagement increased significantly, with visitors spending more than 200% longer on the site within the first 30 days.

“Versed understood that this project was about more than a visual refresh – it was about helping us unify our identity during a significant period of growth while staying true to who we are as a business.”
